The distinctive t-shirt was the first thing Kelly noticed while visiting the Tate Modern Gallery in London. Later, when he walked into the room with the Jannis Kounellis exhibit—the work shown in the photo—he remembered the shirt and waited for the man to arrive. Fortunately, the man lingered while his friends moved on.
