Lake Bogoria is a saline and alkaline lake in the Kenyan Rift Valley that at times is home to one of the world's largest congregations of lesser flamingos. The different phytoplankton species living here, combined with other elements like minerals occasionally create kaleidoscopes of colours and unexpected shapes and patterns.
